Description
Repellam is a polymeric mixture with excellent saturation levels that enhances the stability of the substrate. It also repels water making it ideal as a primer and bonding agent for most applications, i.e., concrete, walls, plaster etc.
When preparing the surface for application, ensure the substrate has been washed off and is free of any dust or objects and chemicals that might cause non-adhesion to the substrate. In addition, be sure the substrate has adequately dried before applying the product.
Repellam is pre-packaged in a 20-litre bucket. Mix the product thoroughly at medium speed before application. Once the substrate is prepared as above, cover all surrounding and non-sprayable areas with masking tape to avoid damage or overspray. For airless spray application, spray on one layer of Repellam. For roll-on or brush-on applications, paint a thin layer of Repellam in one direction only. One coat of a 20-litre bucket covers 120 m².
Because Repellam is water-based, application tools can be cleaned off under running water.
Repellam is clear when dry. Ensure it is touch-dry before applying another coat. This should take about an hour at 25⁰C.
