Description
RoofRenew is a water-based lead-free, eco-friendly acrylic roof paint. It is adhesion-promoted, UV-stable and extremely durable. It is the ideal coating to rejuvenate your roof.
When preparing the surface for application, ensure the substrate has been washed off and is free of any dust or objects and chemicals that might cause non-adhesion to the substrate. In addition, be sure the substrate has adequately dried before applying the product.
RoofRenew is pre-packaged in a 20-litre bucket. Mix the product thoroughly at medium speed before application. Once the substrate is prepared as above, cover all surrounding and non-sprayable areas with masking tape to avoid damage or overspray. For airless spray application, spray on the first layer of paint. Once the coat is touch dry (about one to two hours at 25°C), a flash coat can be sprayed on if needed. For roll-on or brush-on applications, a second coat can be applied once the first layer is touch-dry. Finally, a third flash coat can be applied if needed. Ensure each coat is touch-dry before applying the next layer. Two coats are required for paint applications – two coats painted from a 20-litre bucket should result in approximatel 60 m² coverage. RoofRenew is fully cured after seven days.
Because RoofRenew is water-based, application tools can be cleaned off under running water.
RoofRenew’s standard colours for waterproofing are grey, white, black, terracotta and green. However, we can supply it in any of our 90 standard colours, and some colours can be matched on request.
