Description
AquaTint is a polymeric mixture with excellent saturation levels to enhance the substrate’s stability. It also repels water from the substrate. This makes AquaTint the perfect finish on a slab where you want a colour finish over our PolyScreed. Use AquaTint on various substrates, like concrete, walls, plaster, tiles, etc.
When preparing the surface for application, ensure the substrate has been washed off and is free of any dust or objects and chemicals that might cause non-adhesion to the substrate. In addition, be sure the substrate has adequately dried before applying the product.
AquaTint is pre-packaged in a 20-litre bucket. Mix the product thoroughly at medium speed before application. Once the substrate is prepared as above, cover all surrounding and non-sprayable areas with masking tape to avoid damage or overspray. For airless spray application, spray on one layer of AquaTint. For roll-on or brush-on applications, paint two thin layers of AquaTint in one direction only. AquaTint is touch-dry after about an hour at 25⁰C. Ensure each layer is touch-dry before painting on another coat. One coat of a 20-litre bucket covers 100 – 120 m².
Because AquaTint is water-based, application tools can be cleaned off under running water.
We have 90 standard AquaTint colours.
